Small modular reactors (SMRs)

We are pleased that MSA, a member of the RKL HOLDING Group, is actively expanding its operations in the field of nuclear energy and preparing to participate in next-generation projects.

The company was represented at the expert meeting “Rolls-Royce Small Modular Reactors: Opportunities for Czech Companies” by Michal Matuš, Chief Financial & Commercial Officer, and Vladimir Stoyka, Quality Director. The meeting was jointly organized by the Czech Energy Association (SEČR) and the Czech Chamber of Commerce.

The program focused on the development of the Rolls-Royce SMR project, building the supply chain, and opportunities for Czech companies to participate in upcoming small modular reactor projects. Discussions also covered supplier requirements, plans for further development, and the role of Czech industry in this new phase of nuclear energy.

MSA has been preparing for these opportunities for some time—including through the verification process with Rolls-Royce SMR, the implementation of the ISO 19443 standard, and preparations for ASME certification, which is one of the key standards for supplying the nuclear industry.
