Successful delivery of a DN 800 ball valve for NET4Gas

MSA a.s., a leading manufacturer of industrial valves based in Dolní Benešov and a member of RKL Holding, a.s., has successfully completed a contract for NET4GAS, s.r.o., a key player in the natural gas transmission sector in the Czech Republic.

Supply of specialised valves
As part of the project, a DN800 (32”) ball valve with a pressure rating of PN100 (Class 600) was supplied for the compressor station in Kralice nad Oslavou. This above-ground weld-on ball valve was manufactured in accordance with API 6D and specially adapted for a medium containing 10% hydrogen (H₂). To ensure the valve met the customer’s specific requirements, it was also tested in accordance with ISO 15848-2, which guarantees low emissions and appropriate functionality in hydrogen-containing environments.
