When an industrial building is transformed into a firefighter training ground

For the second time this year, the Hlučín Fire Department used the MSA high-rise industrial building for a tactical exercise—and this time, they went all out in cramped conditions.

The space, which normally serves production and technical operations, was transformed for several days into a realistic environment for practicing responses to challenging situations.

Crawl spaces, narrow passages, limited room to move, and team communication under pressure.    

These are precisely the conditions firefighters may encounter in real industrial facilities, where there is no room for error and every second counts.

Thanks to this, the training provided maximum added value—closely resembling a real-life operation.

We are pleased that MSA’s production and technical facilities can serve not only industry but also the training of professionals who protect health and lives.
